Belarussian Men and Women Championship

Major League of Belarussian Men and Women Championships ended. Championships was held in Minsk from April 3th to April 11th. Competitions was held by the system of micro-matches from two games, time control: 45 minutes for each participant before the end of the game plus 15 seconds per move. Belarussian Youth Championship among boys and girls in age groups 10, 13, 16, 19 years was held in Borisov from March 24th to March 30th in two programs: Blitz and Classic. 126 players took part in competitions. You can see results of Blitz HERE, Classic program HERE and Photo HERE

Russian Youth Championship

Russian Youth Championship among boys and girls in age groups 8, 10, 13 years ended. Women Championship of Moldova

Women Championship of Moldova was held from 18 to 23 March in Chisinau. International Grandmaster, former world champion Elena Skovitina became champion. Cristina Zaruba took 2nd place and young Șleahovskaya Ana took 3rd place.  See results  HERE  and PHOTO

Ukrainian Youth Championship

Ukrainian Youth Championship among boys and girls was held in age groups 10, 13, 16, 19, 23 years  in three programs: Blitz, Rapid and Classic. Total 101 players took part in competitions. Lithuanian Men Championship

Lithuanian Men Championship in draughts-64 (with the draw moves and positions) was held in Vilnius from March 6th to March 11, 2014. Andrius Kybartas won additional match for the first place Arunas Norvaishas and became the champion. Sigitas Smaidrys took 3rd place. See results HERE.

Youth Championship of Moldova

Youth Championship of Moldova (64) in age groups B16, B13, B10 in boys and G16, G13, G10 in girls was held from February 28th to March 5th in Chisinau. Competitions was held  in three programs: Blitz, Rapid and Classic. 66 players took part in competitions. See results HERE

Russian Youth Championship

Russian Youth Championship (64) in age groups B23, B19, B16 in boys and G23, G19, G16 in girls ended. Competitions was held  from March 3rd to March 10th in Leningrad region. Competitions was held  in three programs: Blitz, Rapid and Classic. 135 players took part in competitions. Plaudin Vladimir  (B24), Rysaev Damir (B19), Melnikov Dmitry (B16), Sarshaeva Zhanna (G24), Azarova Nyurguyana (G19), Denisova Valeria (G16) became champions in classic program. See results and photo from closing ceremony.
