Rules<\/h2>\n
1. Place, date<\/strong><\/p>\n
Competitions are held in SDUSSHOR of Chess and Draughts from December 07 (day of arrival) to December 14, 2014 at: St. Petersburg, Bolshaya Koniushennaya str. 25 (metro station «Gostinny Dvor», facing Canal of Griboyedov).<\/p>\n
2. The competition program<\/strong><\/p>\n
The program of the events:
\n1. Final of World Cup;
\n2. Youth tournament among boys and girls with offset by age group.<\/p>\n
Team standings determined in youth tournament. Team composition: three boys and a girl.<\/p>\n
3. The competitors<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n
All participants are allowed to participate in World Cup regardless of gender, age and rating who timely filed an application, registered on time and pay the entry fee. The number of participants representing the country is not limited.<\/p>\n
In youth tournament boys and girls born no later than 1998 are allowed to participate, who timely filed an application, registered on time and pay the entry fee.<\/p>\n
All participants must have medical insurance for the period of competition.<\/p>\n
4. <\/strong>The conditions<\/strong> of the competition<\/strong><\/p>\n
Competitions are held according to the rules of IDF-FMJD Section-64. The panel of referees determines the system of competition based on the number of participants.<\/p>\n
Competitions are held in Russian version of draughts-64 by the system of micro-matches consist of two games.<\/p>\n
Final of World Cup are held with the draw of the initial moves and positions on the debuts table approved by Section-64 and binding on both games of the micro-match. Youth competitions are held in the classic Russian draughts.<\/p>\n
Time control:
\nFinal of World Cup — 45 minutes for each participant before the end of the game plus 10 seconds per move.
\nIn youth tournament — 45 minutes for each participant before the end of the game.
\nThe break between games is five minutes.<\/p>\n
5. Determination of winners<\/strong><\/p>\n
Places of participants are determined by the biggest amount of points.
\nIn the team classification — by the biggest amount of points scored by all team members.
\nIn case if result of two or more participants is equal, the additional criteria established by the panel of referees in accordance with the rules of the IDF-FMJD Section-64.<\/p>\n
Players taking part in the Final of World Cup, get points in the overall standing of the World Cup in accordance with the Regulations of the World Cup 2014.<\/p>\n
6.Awarding<\/strong><\/p>\n
Final of World Cup, youth tournaments<\/strong>:
\n<\/strong>Participants who took 1st place in each tournament awarded with cups, medals and diplomas.
\nParticipants who took 2-3 places in each tournament awarded with medals and diplomas.<\/p>\n
The team which won 1st place awarded by cup and diploma and it participants awarded with diplomas.
\nTeams which took 2nd<\/sup> and 3rd <\/sup>places and it participants awarded with diplomas.<\/p>\n
The prize fund in the Final of World Cup to be announced, but will be not less than 1000 Euros.<\/p>\n
Participants are required to attend the awards ceremony; otherwise they lose their official awards.
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n
Overall standing<\/strong> of the World Cup:<\/strong><\/p>\n
In accordance with the Regulations of the World Cup 2014 participant who took 1st place in the overall standing of the World Cup awarded with cup, medal and diploma.
\nParticipants who took 2nd <\/sup>and 3rd<\/sup> places awarded with medals and diplomas.<\/p>\n
The prize fund in the overall standing of the World Cup according to the Regulations of the World Cup 2014 is 3000 euros:
\n1st place — 1000 EUR
\n2nd place — 600 EUR
\n3rd place — 450 EUR
\n4th place — 300 EUR
\n5th place — 200 EUR
\n6th place — 150 EUR
\nBest Veteran (60 +)\u00a0— 100 euro
\nBest female — 100 euros
\nBest young born in 1998 and under — 100 euros.<\/p>\n
Winner of the World Cup 2014 is allowed to participate in the World Championship 2015. \u00a0Organizers provided his by accommodation and meals. Participants who took 2nd<\/sup> and 3rd <\/sup>places in the World Cup 2014 will participate in the World Championship 2015 without a tournament fee.<\/p>\n
7. Finances<\/strong><\/p>\n
All costs of participants paid by the sending organizations or yourself.
\nThe organizing committee pays all costs for the organization and conducting of the competition.
\nEntry fee:
\nIn the Final of World Cup is 1500 rubles for each participant.
\nIn youth competitions is 1000 rubles for each participant.<\/p>\n
8. Applications<\/strong><\/p>\n
Applications for participation must be submitted to the office of IDF-Section-64 not later than November 21, 2014 on e-mail: section64.idf@gmail.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n
