Competition ended. Andrei Gnelitskiy won in 3rd stage of World Cup. Sergei Belosheyev unexpectedly lost\u00a0in the final round Vladimir Plaudin. He took second place only. Mikhail Fedorov from Nizhny Novgorod took 3rd place. Natalia Fedorova is the best among women. Semen Naduev is the best among youth 1998 year born and younger and Dmitry Lond is the best among veterans.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Two rounds in all tournaments was held today. Andrei Gnelitskiy won in 7th round grandmaster from St. Petersburg Yuri Andreev. He\u00a0leading after 8 rounds with a score of 14 points.\u00a0Sergey Belosheev occupies the second row in the table with a score of 13 points. Mikhail Fedorov took 3rd place before the\u00a0last round with a score of 12 points.<\/p>\n

Two rounds in the 3rd Stage of World Cup\u00a0was held today. Sergei Belosheyev and\u00a0Andrei Gnelitskiy lead after\u00a06 rounds with a score of\u00a010 points.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Tournament leaders Sergei Belosheev and Andrei Gnelitsky played a draw. Mikhail Fedorov and Dmitry Abarinov won their games and caught up with the leaders. These four players lead after the fourth round with a score of 7 points.<\/p>\n

After lunch the participants went on a bus tour of the city for sightseeing.<\/p>\n

3rd<\/sup> Stage of World Cup 2014 — International competition \u201cWhite Nights-2014\u201dstarted.\u00a0Two events traditionally are held — Stage of World Cup and Youth Tournament. Competitions are held from July 19, (arrival day) till July 27, 2014 (departure day).
\nPlace of registration and playing hall:<\/strong>
\nSt. Petersburg State budget educational institution of additional education \u201cSDYUSSHOR in Chess and Draughts\u201d (Chigorin club) at: Bolshaya Konyushennaya str. 25, St. Petersburg, Russia.<\/p>\n

Credentials Committee will work July 19th from 15.00 till 20.00.
\nAll participants must have medical insurance for the period of competition.<\/p>\n

Program of competitions <\/strong><\/p>\n

Two tournaments are held:
\n1. 3rd<\/sup> Stage of World Cup.
\n2. Youth competitions for boys and girls 1998 year born and younger (with the offset of the age groups).<\/p>\n

Team standing is determined in the youth competitions. The composition of teams is 3 boys and 1 girl.<\/p>\n

Participants <\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n

The participation in the 3rd Stage of World Cup is allowed for all participants regardless of gender, age and rating; in junior competitions for players born no later than 1998, who registered in accordance with this regulation time and paid the tournament fee. The number of participants representing the country is not limited.<\/p>\n

Participants must to be on the closing ceremony of the competition, in breach of the item they are deprived of official awards.<\/p>\n

Tournament regulations <\/strong><\/p>\n

Competitions are held on the rules of the IDF — Section-64 FMJD.
\nSystem of competition is Swiss or round robin, depending on the number of participants.
\nCompetitions are held in Russian draughts by the system of micro-matches consist of two games:
\n— Stage of World Cup is held with the drawing\u00a0 according to the official table of the Section-64.
\n— Youth competitions are played in classic draughts without draw of the moves.
\nTime control: \u00a045 minutes till the end of the game plus 10 seconds on each move, break between games is 5 minutes.<\/p>\n

Tournament fees<\/strong><\/p>\n

Each participant of the competitions should pay organizational tournament fee at the day of arrival:
\nIn Stage of World Cup \u2013 1500 rub (30 euro);
\nIn youth competitions \u2013 600 rub (12 euro).<\/p>\n

Determination of the winners<\/strong><\/p>\n

Places of competitors are determined by most amounts of points. For team standing — on the largest amount of points scored by all team members.<\/p>\n

In case of equal points of two or more participants the additional criteria established by the panel of judges according to the system of the competition.<\/p>\n

Participants of \u00a0Stage of \u00a0World Cup get points in the overall standing of the World Cup in accordance with the Regulations of the World Cup 2014 in draughts-64.<\/p>\n

Awards<\/strong><\/p>\n

Participants took 1-3 places in the 3rd<\/sup> Stage of World Cup will be awarded with cups, medals and diplomas.
\nThe prize fund of 3rd <\/sup>Stage of World Cup is not less than 50 000 rubles (1\u00a0000 euro).
\nPrizes will be paid for highest classifications, the best woman, the best junior and other prizes according to organizers decision.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Participants took 1-3 places in junior competitions will be awarded with cups, medals and diplomas. Participants took 1-3 places in the age groups will be awarded medals and diplomas.<\/p>\n

The team took 1st place will be awarded trophy and a diploma, the participants — diplomas.
\nTeams took 2-3 places and it participants will be awarded with diplomas.<\/p>\n

Accommodation and meals <\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n

Travel expenses, accommodation and meals paid by sending organizations.<\/p>\n

Accommodation can be available in different mini-hotels near the club. Accommodation is booking independently. Organizers may to help with the cheapest options if necessary.<\/p>\n

Applications for participation in competition must be submitted to the office of IDF — FMJD Section-64 on e-mail: section64.idf@gmail.com<\/a> not later than July 1st, 2014.<\/p>\n
