Today, May 31, the General Assembly of SportAccord was held, where SportAccord\u00a0presidential elections took place\u00a0 &#8212; in place of the retiring Hein Verbruggen. <strong>President of the International Judo Federation Marius Vizer<\/strong> <strong>became<\/strong> <strong>the new president of SportAccord. <\/strong><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.imsaworld.com\/wp\/news\/election-of-the-imsa-board\/\" target=\"_blank\">May 28, president of FIDE Kirsan Ilyumzhinov was unanimously elected president of the International Association of Mind Games (IMSA)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The full result of the election is as follows:<br \/>\n<strong>Kirsan Ilyumzhinov:<\/strong> President<br \/>\n<strong>Harry Otten :<\/strong> Deputy President<br \/>\n<strong>Thomas Hsiang :<\/strong> General Secretary<br \/>\n<strong>Marc de Pauw :<\/strong> Treasurer<br \/>\n<strong>Gianarrigo Rona :<\/strong> WBF Representative<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>SportAccord Convention was\u00a0held in St. Petersburg, Russia, 26-31 May, 2013.<\/p>\n<p>SportAccord Convention is a 6-day gathering of over 2000 leading representatives from international sport.
